A small sheepskin rug with a thick, soft pile, 28 x 39 inches (71 x 99 cm). That's big enough to cover the spot beside the bed where your feet land in the morning, and small enough to drape over a reading chair, a desk chair or the end of a hallway bench. It's an accent piece, not a room-sized rug.

It comes in seven colors: Natural White, Cream, Mauve, Mushroom, Light Gray, Light Khaki and Linen. The outline varies a little from piece to piece, so treat the size as approximate. On hardwood, tile or laminate, a thin rug pad or a few grip pads under the corners keep it from sliding.

Vacuum it on low suction and shake it out now and then to lift the pile. Blot a spill with a paper towel first, then clean the spot with warm water and a little soap and let it dry flat, away from direct heat. It doesn't go in the washing machine or the dryer. Free shipping within the US.

Does every rug look exactly like the photos?

Close, but not identical. The outline differs a little from piece to piece, and a color can look slightly lighter or darker on a screen than it does in your room.

What size is it, and is there another one?

Will it slide on a hardwood floor?

On a smooth floor such as hardwood, tile or laminate, a thin rug pad or a few grip pads under the corners keep it where you put it. On carpet it stays in place on its own.

Does it shed?

A new rug with a long pile lets go of a few loose fibers in the first weeks, which is normal. Shake it out outdoors and vacuum it on low suction, and that settles down quickly.

How do I clean and care for it?

Vacuum it every week or two on low suction, and shake it out outdoors now and then to lift the pile back up.

For a spill, blot it with paper towel first, then clean the spot with warm water and a small amount of soap. Let it dry flat, away from a radiator or direct heat, and brush the pile back into place once it is dry. It does not belong in a washing machine or a dryer.

Keep it out of long hours of direct sunlight, which fades the color over time, and off floors that stay damp, such as a bathroom.

Can I use it on a chair instead of on the floor?

Yes. Over a living room chair, a home office chair or a foyer bench it works the same way, and the size suits a standard seat.

Is it warm underfoot?

Yes. The thick pile puts a soft layer between your feet and the floor, so it does not feel cold to the touch the way wood or tile does. That is what makes it comfortable beside a bed through the cold months.
