Bamboo step stool in front of white kitchen cabinets and an oven

The top shelf, within reach

Keep it in the kitchen for the cabinet over the fridge, or in a closet for the shelf above the rail. Most step stools get hidden away; this one looks like furniture, so it can stay out by the counter as a perch or a spot for a cookbook.

Bamboo steps, black metal braces

The steps and legs are bamboo, and two black metal stays brace the frame when it's open. Fold it and it closes flat to slide beside the fridge or behind a door. Four stick-on anti-slip strips come with it for the steps.

Description

A folding step stool made from bamboo, with three steps braced by black metal stays. It gets you to the top shelf of a kitchen cabinet or a closet, and when you're not climbing on it, it works as a perch, a plant stand or a place to set a book down.

The top step is 15 x 7.9 inches and stands 23.2 inches from the floor, on a footprint of 18.5 x 13.8 inches when open. It folds flat to slide in beside the fridge or behind a door.

The maker rates it to 220 lb, and four stick-on anti-slip strips for the steps come in the box. Take care on smooth floors, and always open it fully before stepping up. Sold as one step stool. Free shipping within the US.

How much weight does it hold?

The maker rates it to 220 lb. Always open it fully before you step up, and keep your weight in the middle of the step.

How high will it get me?

The top step stands 23.2 inches from the floor, and the two lower steps let you climb up in stages. The top step is 15 x 7.9 inches, wide enough to stand on with both feet.

Is it safe on a smooth floor?

Four stick-on anti-slip strips come with it for the steps. Take care on tile or polished wood, and always open the stool fully before stepping up.

Can I use it as a side table or plant stand?

Yes. The top step is 15 x 7.9 inches at 23.2 inches high, so it holds a plant, a few books or a cup of coffee beside a sofa or a bed.

How do I clean and care for it?

Wipe the steps with a dry or barely damp cloth once a week, and dry them right after, since bamboo doesn't like standing water. Skip harsh cleaners.

Check now and then that the metal stays sit straight and the anti-slip strips are still stuck down, and replace a strip if it starts to lift.

Store it folded flat in a dry spot, away from radiators and direct sun.

How long does shipping take?

Orders ship within 1 to 4 business days and arrive in 7 to 12 business days in total. Shipping is free within the US.
