A mirror front shows fingerprints quickly. Wipe it with a soft, dry microfiber cloth whenever it needs it, and dust the white body about once a week.

For smudges that do not come off dry, dampen a corner of the cloth with a little water, wipe, then dry. Never spray cleaner onto the clock, because liquid can run into the slots on the sides. Skip paper towels and abrasive cloths, which can scratch the mirror.

Use it indoors in a dry room. Take the batteries out if the clock will sit unused for a few months.
