In the room

A small wooden cube with the time, date and temperature

On a desk, a nightstand or a shelf

It is small enough to sit next to a laptop, a lamp or a stack of books without crowding them. Run it from a USB cable at your desk, or put in three AAA batteries and stand it on a nightstand or a living room shelf with no outlet nearby. With the wood finish, it reads as a small decor piece rather than a gadget.

Wood grain all around, digits glowing through the front

Every side of the cube has a bamboo wood grain finish. When the clock is on, the LED digits glow straight through the front face, with no separate screen around them. Three brightness levels keep the numbers easy to read in daylight and soft enough for a bedside table at night.

Description

A small digital alarm clock shaped as a 2.4-inch cube, with a wood grain finish on every side and LED digits that glow through the front. It shows the time in 12 or 24-hour format, the date and the room temperature in °F or °C. You can keep the time on screen or let it rotate through all three.

Set up to three alarms, and press any button to snooze for 9 minutes. There are three brightness levels, and an auto-sleep mode turns the display off when the room is quiet and back on when it hears a sound or you tap the top.

It runs on a USB cable or three AAA batteries, and the batteries aren't included. Choose white, dark wood, light wood or black. It weighs about 0.3 lb and fits on a nightstand, a desk or a shelf. Free shipping within the US.

How is it powered?

It runs from a USB cable or from 3 AAA batteries. The batteries are not included, so pick some up if you want to use it away from an outlet or a USB port.

Does the display stay on all night?

That is up to you. With the auto-sleep mode off, the display stays on. With it on, the screen goes dark when the room is quiet and lights up again when it hears a sound or you lightly tap the top.

There are three brightness levels, so you can also leave it on and simply turn it down for the night.

How do the alarms and snooze work?

You can set up to three alarms. When an alarm goes off, press any button to snooze it, and it sounds again 9 minutes later.

What does the display show?

The time in a 12 or 24-hour format, the date and the room temperature in °C or °F. You can keep the time on screen all the time, or let it rotate through time, date and temperature.

Where does it fit best?

It is made for nightstands, desks, living rooms and office spaces. It is for indoor use and stands on any flat surface.

How do I clean and care for it?

Dust it with a soft dry cloth once a week or so. That is all the routine care it needs.

For fingerprints or a sticky spot, unplug the USB cable first. Wipe the wood with a cloth that is barely damp, then dry it right away. Keep water and spray cleaners away from the front face and the USB port.

Stand it indoors on a dry, flat surface, out of direct sun and away from a heater or a bathroom sink. That also gives a truer room temperature reading.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are processed in 1 to 4 business days, and delivery takes 7 to 12 business days in total.
