In the room

A footrest that hides the clutter

Woven storage ottoman with a cream throw in front of an oak sideboard

Somewhere for the throw and the remotes

Put it in front of a chair or at the end of a sofa, and it takes your feet in the evening and swallows the throw, the remotes and the magazines in the morning. In a small living room it's one piece doing the work of a footrest, an extra seat and a storage basket.

Twisted weave and a padded top

The body is woven synthetic rattan in a twisted, rope-like weave over a wood frame. On top sits a padded upholstered lid in sand, which lifts off to open the storage underneath.

Description

A round storage ottoman with a soft padded top in sand over a woven body. It reads as texture first, the twisted weave of the base against the flat, calm top, and as storage second. Lift the lid and throws, remotes and magazines disappear.

The body is woven synthetic rattan over a wood frame, with a padded upholstered lid that lifts off. It's 15.7 inches high and 15.7 inches across, steady enough to sit on and low enough to use as a footrest. The Japandi, wabi sabi look sits easily beside wood, rattan and stoneware.

Sold as one ottoman. The throw and decor in the photos are not included. Free shipping within the US.

Can I sit on it?

Yes. It's built on a wood frame and steady enough to sit on, and at 15.7 inches high it works as a footrest in front of a sofa or chair too.

How much fits inside?

The storage sits under the lid, inside the round body, which is 15.7 inches across on the outside. It takes a folded throw, remotes or a stack of magazines.

Is it real rattan?

No. The body is woven synthetic rattan over a wood frame, in a twisted, rope-like weave. The lid is padded and upholstered in sand.

How does the lid open?

It lifts off. There's no hinge, so set the lid beside you, reach in, and put it back on top.

How do I clean and care for it?

Vacuum the weave with a brush attachment every couple of weeks, and brush crumbs off the lid.

Blot spills on the lid right away with a clean cloth and a little water, without rubbing. Wipe the weave with a cloth that's barely damp, and skip bleach and harsh cleaners.

Keep it indoors and out of strong direct sun, which can fade the lid, and away from radiators.

How long does shipping take?

Orders ship within 1 to 4 business days and arrive in 7 to 12 business days in total. Shipping is free within the US.
