In the room

A small seat that folds away

Brown bamboo folding stool standing on a wood floor against a white wall

A seat by the door for putting on shoes

Set it in the entryway and you have somewhere to sit while you lace up, without giving up floor for a bench. It works the same way as a spare seat when guests come over, or as a low stand for a plant by the window. When you need the space back, fold it and lean it behind the door.

Curved bamboo slats on crossed legs

The seat dips gently in the middle and rises at both ends, so you sit in it rather than on it. Slim bamboo slats with gaps between them let air and water through, and the crossed legs fold flat on a pivot. The bamboo has a warm brown finish.

Description

A low bamboo stool with a gently curved seat of slim slats, carried on crossed legs. The curve makes it comfortable to perch on, and the gaps between the slats let air and water through.

The legs fold, so it tucks flat behind a door or beside a wardrobe when you don't need it. It's 13 inches wide, 10.2 inches deep and 13.4 inches tall, a good height for pulling on shoes in the entryway, as a spare seat, or as a plant stand by a window.

The maker also sells it as a shower and spa stool. If you use it in the bathroom, wipe it dry afterward to keep the bamboo looking its best. It's bamboo in a brown finish, sold as one stool. Free shipping within the US.

Is it comfortable to sit on?

The seat curves down in the middle and rises at the ends, so it holds you in place for a short sit, like pulling on shoes or sitting in the shower. At 13.4 inches tall it's lower than a dining chair.

Can I use it in the shower?

The maker sells it as a shower and spa stool, and the gaps between the slats let water run through. Wipe it dry after each use and let it air out instead of leaving it standing in water.

Does it fold flat?

Yes. The crossed legs fold on a pivot, so the stool closes flat to lean behind a door or slide beside a wardrobe.

Will it fit my space?

Open, it's 13 inches wide, 10.2 inches deep and 13.4 inches tall. That fits beside a front door, at the end of a bed or in the corner of a shower.

How do I clean and care for it?

Wipe it with a dry or barely damp cloth once a week, and run the cloth between the slats where dust and soap collect.

After use in a wet room, dry it with a towel and let it air out. For marks, use a drop of mild soap on a damp cloth, then dry it. Skip bleach and harsh cleaners.

Store it folded in a dry spot, out of standing water and away from radiators.

How long does shipping take?

Orders ship within 1 to 4 business days and arrive in 7 to 12 business days in total. Shipping is free within the US.
