A plain serving tray made from bamboo, pale and honey toned with a fine, even grain. Low sides keep cups and plates in place, and an oblong handle is cut into each end so it's easy to carry. Use it for a pot of tea, breakfast in bed, or to keep things together on a table or an ottoman.

There are two shapes. The three straight trays have straight sides and square ends and are 1.6 inches high: 7.9 x 5.9, 11.8 x 7.9 or 13.8 x 8.7 inches. The two curved trays have ends that rise in a gentle curve and are 2 inches high: 13.8 x 8.7 or 15 x 9.8 inches.

Wipe it clean with a damp cloth and dry it right away, since bamboo doesn't like soaking. Teapots, cups and food are not included. Free shipping within the US.

Which size do I need?

The 7.9 x 5.9 inch tray holds a mug and a small plate. The 11.8 x 7.9 inch tray fits a small teapot with two cups. For breakfast in bed or a full tea set, go for 13.8 x 8.7 inches or the largest curved tray at 15 x 9.8 inches.

What's the difference between straight and curved?

Straight trays have straight sides and square ends and stand 1.6 inches high. Curved trays have ends that rise in a gentle curve toward the handles and stand 2 inches high.

Can I use it as a breakfast tray in bed?

Yes, as a carrying tray you set down on the bed. It has no legs, so it lies flat on the covers rather than standing over your lap.

How do I clean and care for it?

Wipe it with a damp cloth and a little mild dish soap after use, then dry it right away with a towel.

Don't soak it or put it in the dishwasher, since water can make bamboo warp or split. Wipe up spills quickly so they don't stain the grain, and rub in a little food safe oil now and then if it starts to look dry.

Keep it away from the stove and direct heat, and set hot teapots on a trivet or cloth rather than straight on the bamboo.
