A little jug for the table

Blue jug of mayo and cream jug of ketchup beside fries

Cream, sauce or dressing, one serving at a time

Put out cream for coffee, ketchup and mayo next to fries, or a dressing for one salad. Each jug holds about 2.7 fl oz, enough for one or two servings, so there's no carton or bottle on the table. The pinched lip pours a thin, clean line and stops without a drip.

Four small kiln glazed jugs in blue, cream, gray and red

Kiln glazed, so no two match

The glaze melts in the kiln and pools and breaks around the rim and the handle, so the color shifts from dark to light. Color and speckle vary from jug to jug. The set of four comes in cream, blue, speckled gray and red, and the pairs come in cream or blue.

Description

Small ceramic jugs for cream with coffee, a sauce beside a steak or a dressing for one salad. Milk in the carton, gravy in the pan, dressing in the bottle: a little jug fixes all three. Each holds about 2.7 fl oz, and the pinched lip pours cleanly without a drip down the side.

Every jug is kiln glazed, so the color pools and breaks around the rim and handle, and the color and speckle vary from jug to jug. Each one is about 4.3 inches from lip to handle, 2.7 inches across the body and 2.1 inches high. Choose a pair in the same glaze, cream or blue, or the set of four with one each in cream, blue, speckled gray and red.

We suggest washing them by hand. Plates, boards and food in the photos are not included. Free shipping within the US.

How much does each jug hold?

About 2.7 fl oz, which is cream for two or three coffees, or one serving of sauce or dressing.

How many jugs do I get?

The pairs come with two jugs in the same glaze, cream or blue. The set of four has one each in cream, blue, speckled gray and red.

Will mine look exactly like the photos?

Close, but not identical. The glaze is fired in a kiln, so the color and the speckle vary a little from jug to jug. That's normal for kiln glazed ceramic.

Does it drip when you pour?

The pinched lip is shaped to pour a clean line. Pour steadily and lift the jug back up at the end of the pour.

How do I clean and care for it?

We suggest washing them by hand with warm water and mild dish soap. A bottle brush or a small sponge reaches inside.

Rinse out milk and cream soon after use so they don't sour or leave a film. Skip abrasive pads, which can dull the glaze.

Let them cool before rinsing in cold water, and keep them off the stovetop and out of the oven.

How long does shipping take?

Orders ship within 1 to 4 business days and arrive in 7 to 12 business days in total. Shipping is free within the US.
