A small ceramic serving dish shaped like a short column, with a rough, stone like texture on the outside and a smooth, shallow well set into the top. It raises a single dessert, a scoop of something cold or a small starter off the table, the way a pedestal does.

It's ceramic with a matte finish, in white or black, as a low dish 2 inches high or a tall column 4.4 inches high. The low dish is 3.8 inches across the top and 4.1 inches at the base and weighs about 7.8 oz. The tall one is 3.9 inches across the top and 4.2 inches at the base and weighs about 15.2 oz. The well on top holds about 2 fl oz.

Mix the two heights on one table for a little variation, or line up a set in one color. Food, cutlery and the bamboo mat in the photos are not included. Free shipping within the US.

What's the difference between low and tall?
