The strip is magnetic walnut, 15.7 inches long, 2 inches tall and 0.8 inch deep. Walnut has a warm, dark grain that looks at home beside oak, stone or painted cabinets. At this length it takes a good everyday set, and it also holds small metal kitchen pieces like scissors or steel spice tins.

How does it mount to the wall?
