In the room

A ribbed drum that sits flat against the ceiling

Two green ribbed resin flush mount ceiling lights in a hallway

One for a small room, two for a hallway

The light mounts flush, so nothing hangs down into a low ceiling or a narrow passage. A single one is enough for a small bedroom, kitchen corner or home office. In a longer hallway, set two in a row the way the photo shows.

White ribbed resin flush mount ceiling light with two tiers, lit from inside

Ribbed resin in two tiers

The shade is resin with ribs running from top to bottom. A narrower ring sits against the ceiling and a wider drum hangs below it, open at the bottom. From the side the drum hides the bulb, so the light falls downward as an even glow.

Description

A small flush mount ceiling light with a ribbed resin shade in two tiers: a narrow ring against the ceiling and a wider drum below it, open at the bottom. From the side the drum hides the bulb, so the light falls downward as an even glow, and nothing hangs down into a low ceiling or a narrow hallway.

It measures 9.1 inches across and 6.3 inches high. One is enough for a small bedroom, a kitchen corner or a home office, and two in a row work in a longer hallway. Choose a muted sage green, a warm cream beige or plain white.

It's hardwired for 110-120V, and the ceiling mounting hardware is included. It takes one bulb in an E27 socket, and the bulb isn't included. With a dimmable bulb and a dimmer switch it dims, otherwise it works as a regular on/off light. Indoor use only. Free shipping within the US.

How is it installed?

It is a surface mount light that sits flush on the ceiling and is hardwired, on 110 to 120V. Assembly is required, and the ceiling mounting hardware is included.

If you have not wired a ceiling light before, have a licensed electrician connect it.

Which bulb does it take, and is one included?

The socket is E27. A standard US E26 bulb screws into it. The bulb is not included, and an LED bulb is recommended.

Can I dim it?

Yes, if you use a dimmable bulb and have a dimmer switch on the wall. With a regular bulb or a regular switch it works as a normal on and off light.

How big is it, and how much room does it light?

It is 9.1 in / 23 cm across and 6.3 in / 16 cm high. One light is suggested for 32 to 54 sq ft / 3 to 5 m². For a bigger room, plan on more than one.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

It is for indoor use only. The bathroom is on the list of recommended rooms, together with the bedroom, living room, kitchen and home office. No IP rating is listed, so do not place it right above a shower or a tub.

How do I clean and care for it?

Dust the ribs with a soft dry cloth or a soft brush every few weeks. The grooves hold dust more than a smooth shade would.

For marks, switch the light off and let the bulb cool first. Wipe the resin with a slightly damp cloth and dry it right away. Do not use solvents or abrasive pads.

It is for indoor use only. In a kitchen, keep it away from the spot right above the stove, where grease settles in the grooves.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are processed in 1 to 4 business days, and delivery takes 7 to 12 business days in total.

Is this lamp UL or ETL listed?

No, our lamps are not UL or ETL listed. They are made for standard US outlets (110 to 120V), and plug-in models come with a US plug, so they are ready to use at home.

If your project needs listed fixtures, for example permitted work, a commercial space or an electrician who only installs certified equipment, please check with us before you order. Hardwired lights should always be installed by a licensed electrician.
