Description

A small flush mount ceiling light with a frosted opal glass globe under a round walnut base, and a brass fitting between the wood and the glass. The opal glass turns the bulb into one soft, even glow. The globe is open at the bottom, so some light falls straight down and the bulb is easy to reach.

The globe is 8.7 inches across and the whole light comes down 6.3 inches from the ceiling, which suits a hallway, kitchen or home office where a pendant would hang too low. The walnut base is 4.7 inches across. One light is sized for a room of about 32 to 54 sq ft. In a longer space, line up two or more.

It's hardwired to a ceiling box on 110-120V (it accepts 90-260V), and the mounting hardware is included. A warm white E26 LED bulb comes in the box. The included bulb isn't listed as dimmable, so to dim the light, fit a dimmable E26 bulb and use a wall dimmer. It's for indoor use only and no damp rating is listed, so keep it away from the shower. How is it installed?

It is a flush ceiling mount that connects to your ceiling wiring, with no cord and no plug. The ceiling mounting hardware is included. It runs on 110 to 120V. Have a licensed electrician make the connection if you have not wired a ceiling light before.

Is the bulb included, and which bulb does it take?

Yes. A warm white E26 LED bulb comes with it. E26 is the standard US screw base, so a replacement is easy to find.

Can I dim it?

Yes, with a dimmable E26 bulb and a dimmer switch on the wall. The light has no dimmer of its own, and the bulb that comes with it is not listed as dimmable, so pick up a dimmable bulb if you want to dim it.

Will it work on a low ceiling?

Yes. The whole light comes down 6.3 in / 16 cm from the ceiling, so it leaves headroom where a pendant would not.

Which rooms is it meant for?

It is listed for the kitchen, dining room, bathroom, home office and hallway. It is for indoor use only, and no IP rating is listed, so do not place it right above a shower or a tub.

How do I clean and care for it?

Dust the glass and the walnut base every couple of weeks with a soft dry cloth.

For fingerprints or kitchen film on the glass, switch the light off and let the bulb cool first. Wipe the glass with a soft cloth dampened with water and a drop of dish soap, then dry it. Keep water and cleaners off the wood, and wipe the walnut dry if it gets wet.

It is for indoor ceilings only. Handle the glass shade with two hands when you change the bulb.
