Description

The Skydor ceiling light is a low-profile LED flush mount with a five-sided, faceted metal body. It gives a bedroom, kitchen, hallway or living room one clean geometric shape on the ceiling and a wide, even wash of light from the white diffuser underneath.

The body is metal and the diffuser is PVC, in Pink, Yellow, Black, Green, Gray or White. Four sizes run from 11.8" (18W) to 23.6" (48W), and every size sits only 2" below the ceiling, which makes this ceiling lamp a good fit for low ceilings. The LED is built in and replaceable.

Choose Warm White (3000K), Cool White (6000K) or the dimmable version, which comes with a remote control. Only the remote version is dimmable. Skydor is a hardwired flush mount light fixture, rated IP20 and made for indoor use only. Each light is sold individually.

In the room

A flat light with a sharp outline

Black Skydor ceiling light on the ceiling of a beige living room

Low enough for a standard ceiling

Skydor sits close to the ceiling, so it works in rooms where a pendant would hang in the way: bedrooms, hallways, kitchens and home offices. Pick a neutral body to let it blend in, or a color to make it the one playful shape in the room. A larger room can take two side by side.

Five sides, one even panel of light

The body is folded metal with five angled faces, and the light comes from a flat white diffuser underneath. The LED is built in and replaceable, so there are no bulbs to match. The warm and cool versions give one fixed light color, and the remote version lets you dim it from your seat.

Questions people ask about this piece

Still unclear about something? Email info@qonforta.com and a real person answers within 1 to 2 business days.

Which size should I choose?

There are four sizes: 11.8 in (18W), 15.7 in (24W), 19.7 in (36W) and 23.6 in (48W). The wattage goes up with the size, so a larger room needs a larger fixture. The size guide above shows all four to scale.

How far does it hang below the ceiling?

Every size is 2 in deep, measured from the ceiling to the bottom of the fixture. That keeps it out of the way under a low ceiling.

Which version is dimmable?

Only the version called Dimmable with Remote can be dimmed, and it comes with a remote control. The Warm White (3000K) and Cool White (6000K) versions give one fixed light color and are not dimmable.

Do I need to buy bulbs?

No. The LED is built into the fixture and is included. It is also replaceable.

Does it need to be hardwired, and where can I use it?

Yes. Skydor is a hardwired flush mount with no cord or plug, so it connects to the ceiling wiring. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms only. If you are not used to electrical work, have a licensed electrician install it.

How do I clean and care for it?

Dust the body and the diffuser with a soft dry cloth every few weeks.

For marks, switch the light off and let it cool first. Wipe the surface with a slightly damp cloth and dry it right away. Do not use abrasive cleaners or spray liquid onto the fixture.

Skydor is made for dry indoor rooms. Do not install it outdoors or where steam and splashing water can reach it.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are processed in 1 to 4 business days and most arrive within 7 to 12 business days. Shipping is free on all orders within the United States.
