Description

Track lighting with a wood rail, wood canopy and wood cylinder heads, joined by slim brass color metal arms. Mount the rail flat on the ceiling over a kitchen island, in a hallway or above a run of shelves, or run it along a wall above a sofa or headboard, then turn each head toward the spot you want lit.

It comes in four lengths: 16.5 inches with 2 heads, 31.4 inches with 3, 39.3 inches with 4, and 47.2 inches with 5. Every length measures 8.6 inches from the ceiling to the bottom of the heads, and the canopy is 4.7 inches across. Choose Walnut Color, a dark brown, or Wood Color, a pale natural wood. Because it's wood, the grain varies a little from piece to piece.

The LEDs give a warm white 3000K light. It isn't dimmable, so connect it to a regular on/off switch, not a dimmer. It's hardwired for standard US 110-120V power and weighs 3.1 to 6.4 lbs depending on the length. Free shipping within the US.

Which length should I choose?

The 16.5 in / 42 cm rail has 2 heads and suits a compact alcove. The 31.4 in / 80 cm rail with 3 heads and the 39.3 in / 100 cm rail with 4 heads work over a kitchen island or a sofa. The 47.2 in / 120 cm rail has 5 heads and covers a long wall or a dining table.

How is it installed?

It is hardwired and mounts on a ceiling or a wall. It connects to the wiring behind the round canopy and runs on standard US 110 to 120V household power. Switch the power off at the breaker before you start, and have a licensed electrician make the connection if you have not wired a fixture before.

What color is the light, and can I dim it?

The LEDs give a warm white 3000K light, closer to candlelight than to a cool daylight white. It is not dimmable and dimmable bulbs are not compatible with it, so connect it to a standard on/off switch and not to a dimmer.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

Yes. It is damp rated for bathrooms and covered outdoor areas. Damp rated is not the same as waterproof, so keep it out of direct spray, which means not inside a shower and not where rain can reach it.

Will the wood look exactly like the photos?

Close, but not identical. The rail is real wood, so the grain and the tone differ a little from piece to piece. That goes for both Walnut Color and Wood Color.

How do I clean and care for it?

Dust the rail, the canopy and the heads with a soft dry cloth every week or two. The top of the rail is where most of it settles.

For marks, switch the power off first and let the LEDs cool. Wipe with a cloth that is only slightly damp and dry the wood right away. Skip abrasive pads, solvents and spray cleaners, which can dull the finish or get into the heads.

It is made for indoor use, and it is damp rated for bathrooms and covered outdoor areas. Do not mount it where water sprays or drips onto it.

Is this lamp UL or ETL listed?

No, our lamps are not UL or ETL listed. They are made for standard US outlets (110 to 120V), and plug-in models come with a US plug, so they are ready to use at home.

If your project needs listed fixtures, for example permitted work, a commercial space or an electrician who only installs certified equipment, please check with us before you order. Hardwired lights should always be installed by a licensed electrician.
