Description

A wall-mounted reading light that puts a focused beam on your book instead of lighting up the whole room, and it leaves the nightstand free. The arm and head pivot, so you can aim it at the page, a desk or the wall.

The LED is built into the slim metal head behind a lens, so there's no bulb to buy or change. It isn't dimmable. The switch is a small toggle on the front of the round base, within reach from bed.

It's a plug-in light on 110-120V, so there's no hardwiring: mount the base on the wall and run the cord down to an outlet. It's 9.4 inches wide and 6.2 inches high, comes in black, white, gold or sand nickel, and is for indoor use. Some assembly is required. Free shipping within the US.

Do I need an electrician to install it?

No. It is a plug-in lamp on 110 to 120V, so no hardwiring is needed. You mount the round base on the wall and run the cord down to an outlet. Some assembly is required.

How do I aim the light?

The arm and the head pivot, so you can turn the beam toward your book, a desk or the wall. Point it down at the page for reading, or turn it away from the bed so it does not shine on the other pillow.

Is there a bulb to replace, and can I dim it?

There is no bulb. The LED is integrated in the head and included, so it is ready to use. It is not dimmable.

Where is the switch?

The switch is the small toggle on the front of the round base, so you can turn the lamp on and off from bed without reaching for the outlet.

Which rooms is it made for?

It is an indoor lamp, listed for a bedroom, reading nook, hallway or home office. Keep it in dry rooms, since no damp or IP rating is listed.

How do I clean and care for it?

Dust the arm, the head and the base with a soft, dry cloth every week or two. A soft brush gets into the joint where the head meets the arm.

For fingerprints or a mark, unplug the lamp and let the head cool. Wipe the metal with a cloth that is barely damp, then dry it. Skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which scratch the brushed Gold and Sand Nickel finishes, and keep moisture away from the lens and the switch.

It is for indoor use only. Hang it where the cord can run straight down to the outlet without being pulled tight.
