Description

The Hadro is a round LED wall light for the spots where a table lamp does not fit: beside the bed, along a hallway, next to a mirror or above a console table. When it is on, the warm white light spreads onto the wall around the disc, so you see a soft ring of light instead of a bright bulb. Three diameters let this wall sconce be a small accent or the main piece on a wall.

The body is a slim aluminum disc in gold, black or white. Gold warms up a beige wall, black gives a sharp outline on a light wall, and white blends into a white wall. The LED gives warm white light and lights an area of about 32 to 54 sq ft, which makes this a mood light that sits next to your ceiling light rather than one that replaces it.

Use one on its own at eye height, or hang a pair on either side of a bed or a sofa. The light is not dimmable, so connect it to a regular on and off switch. It is made for dry indoor rooms like the living room, bedroom and hallway.

In the room

A ring of warm light, not a bare bulb

For the wall a table lamp can't reach

Hang it beside the bed instead of a nightstand lamp, above a console in the hallway, or as a pair on either side of the sofa. It lights about 32 to 54 sq ft, so think of it as the light you switch on in the evening while the ceiling light stays off.

A slim aluminum disc that glows at the edge

The body is aluminum in gold, black or white. When it is on, the warm white light spreads onto the wall around the disc, so the wall itself glows in a soft ring.

Questions people ask about this piece

Still unclear about something? Email info@qonforta.com and a real person answers within 1 to 2 business days.

Which size should I pick?

The 5.1 inch disc suits a narrow spot, like beside a mirror or next to a bed. The 7.9 inch works for most hallways and bedside walls. The 11.8 inch is the one to pick when the light is the main thing on the wall, for example above a console or a sofa.

Is it bright enough to light a whole room?

No, it is meant as mood and accent light. It lights an area of about 32 to 54 sq ft, so most people use it next to a ceiling light, or on its own for a softer evening light.

Is the light warm or cool, and can I dim it?

The LED gives warm white light, the soft yellowish tone most people like in living rooms and bedrooms. It is not dimmable, so connect it to a regular on and off switch instead of a dimmer.

Which finish should I choose?

Gold looks warmest on a white or beige wall. Black stands out as a crisp circle on a light wall. White almost disappears into a white wall, so the ring of light becomes the main thing you notice.

How do I clean and care for it?

Dust it every few weeks with a dry microfiber cloth. That is all the aluminum needs to keep looking clean.

For marks or fingerprints, switch the power off first and let the light cool for a few minutes. Then wipe it with a cloth that is barely damp and dry it straight away. Skip sprays, solvents and scouring pads, they can dull the finish.

Hang it in dry indoor rooms. Keep it away from showers, steam and outdoor walls.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are processed in 1 to 4 business days and transit takes 6 to 8 business days, so most orders arrive within 7 to 12 business days. Shipping is free within the United States.
