The bar runs on its own battery, so it goes where a wired light cannot: under kitchen cabinets, inside a closet, along a staircase or next to the bed. Set the switch to AUTO and it turns on when it picks up movement and off again by itself. It is for indoor use only.

A thin LED bar with its own battery, for spots that have no outlet or wiring: under kitchen cabinets, inside a closet, along a staircase or beside the bed. Set the switch to AUTO and the motion sensor turns it on when you walk up and off again by itself. ON keeps it lit, OFF shuts it down, and a touch switch dims it.

It mounts with magnets. You stick the adhesive metal plates under the cabinet or shelf and the bar snaps on, so you can pull it off to charge it through the USB-C port (5V) and put it back. There's no drilling and no assembly. Choose silver or black, cool white 6000K (the White option) or warm white 3000K, and a length of 8, 16 or 24 inches (7.9, 15.7 and 23.6 inches exactly), rated 1.2W, 2.4W or 3.6W.

Every length is 1.6 inches wide and 0.4 inch thick. The body is aluminum and ABS plastic with a built-in 3.7V rechargeable battery, 800 to 1500mAh depending on the length. It's for indoor use only, so keep it away from the stove and from water. Free shipping within the US.

How does it mount, and do I need tools?

No tools, no drilling and no wiring. The bar holds on with magnets. You stick the adhesive metal plates to the underside of the cabinet or shelf and the bar snaps onto them.

Because it is held by magnets, you can pull the bar off to charge it and put it back. There is no assembly.

How is it powered?

It has a built-in rechargeable battery, 3.7V and 800 to 1500mAh depending on the length. You charge it over USB, 5V DC, through the Type-C port at the end of the bar. It does not plug into a wall outlet while in use.

How does the motion sensor work?

The switch has three positions. AUTO turns the light on when the sensor detects movement and off again by itself. ON keeps it lit, and OFF turns it off. A touch switch next to the sensor dims the light.

Which length should I choose?

Measure the cabinet, shelf or step and pick the longest bar that fits: 7.9 in / 20 cm, 15.7 in / 40 cm or 23.6 in / 60 cm. A longer bar has more LED power. The three lengths are rated 1.2W, 2.4W and 3.6W.

What is the difference between White and Warm White?

White is a cool white light of 6000K, the crisp kind that suits a work surface or a closet. Warm White is 3000K, a softer yellow light for a bedroom or a living room shelf.

How do I clean and care for it?

Wipe the bar with a soft dry cloth every few weeks. Under a kitchen cabinet it picks up grease and dust, and a clean sensor reacts better.

For sticky marks, switch the light to OFF, take it off its magnets and wipe it with a slightly damp cloth. Keep water out of the charging port and let the bar dry before you charge it.

It is for indoor use only. Do not mount it right above a stove, where steam and heat rise, or anywhere it can get wet.
