In the room

A flat wall light that sends its glow downward

Round black outdoor wall light glowing beside a front door at dusk

Beside the front door, along a driveway or on a garden wall

Next to an entry it lays a warm pool of light on the wall and the ground under it, enough to find the lock and see the step. Space a few along a driveway, a patio or a side path and they mark the way without lighting up the whole yard. The rating is IP65, so a wall that gets the full rain is fine.

A hood on top, the LED tucked under its edge

The upper part of the face is a solid hood. The LED sits under its lower edge and shines onto the recessed panel below, so you see a soft glow and not a bare light source. The body is aluminum, painted in a matte Sand Black with a fine grain. The 3000K warm white LED is included.

Description

A flat outdoor wall light in matte Sand Black aluminum, with a solid hood across the top and the LED tucked under its edge. The light falls onto the recessed panel and the wall below, so you see a soft warm glow instead of a bare light source. Pick a round or a square face. Both stand just 1.18 inches off the wall.

The Small size is 4.65 inches across with a 3W LED, the Large is 7.87 inches across with a 6W LED. Both give warm white 3000K light with a CRI over 80, and the LED is built in, so there's no bulb to buy. It isn't dimmable. The IP65 rating means it can go on an exterior wall that takes rain, beside a front door, along a driveway or on a garden wall.

It's hardwired, so it mounts over an outdoor electrical box and runs on standard 110-120V house power (it accepts 90-260V AC). There's no solar panel and no battery. If there's no wiring at that spot, an electrician can add it. Free shipping within the US.

Is it solar, or does it need wiring?

It needs wiring. The light is a hardwired wall mount for 110 to 120V and accepts 90 to 260V AC. There is no solar panel and no battery, so plan it where a cable can reach. Some assembly is required, and an electrician is the safe choice for the connection on an outside wall.

Should I take Small or Large?

Small is 4.65 in / 11.8 cm across and uses 3W, which suits a narrow wall, a step or a row of several lights. Large is 7.87 in / 20 cm across and uses 6W, so it covers more of the wall and the ground. Round or square is only a matter of shape, the sizes and the light are the same.

Is the LED included, and what does the light look like?

Yes, the San'an LED is included. It gives a warm white light at 3000K with a CRI over 80. The light is not dimmable.

Can it handle rain and sprinklers?

Yes. It is rated IP65 waterproof and built for outdoor walls, with an aluminum body.

How do I clean and care for it?

A wipe with a soft dry cloth every few weeks keeps dust and pollen off the painted face. Check the recessed panel now and then, since insects and leaves can settle on its ledge.

To remove splashes or bird droppings, cut the power at the breaker and wait until the light is cool. Use a soft cloth with a little mild soap and water, then dry it. Abrasive sponges and strong cleaners can dull the paint.

It is made for outdoor walls. Do not aim a pressure washer at it.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are processed in 1 to 4 business days, and delivery takes 7 to 12 business days in total.

Is this lamp UL or ETL listed?

No, our lamps are not UL or ETL listed. They are made for standard US outlets (110 to 120V), and plug-in models come with a US plug, so they are ready to use at home.

If your project needs listed fixtures, for example permitted work, a commercial space or an electrician who only installs certified equipment, please check with us before you order. Hardwired lights should always be installed by a licensed electrician.
