Description

A solar garden light shaped like a pebble, made of sandblasted frosted glass on an ABS base. By day it looks like a pale stone in the gravel or between the plants. After dusk the single LED lights the whole stone from inside, so you see an even glow instead of a bright dot.

It runs on solar power alone, with no wiring. Switch it on once with the push button under the base, and from then on it charges in the sun and turns on by itself at dusk. It gives 50 lumens of 5000K white light, enough to mark the edge of a path or a patio corner, not to light up the yard. Put it where it gets direct sun during the day.

Choose Small, 5.6 x 5 x 3.1 inches, or Large, 6.5 x 5.7 x 4.3 inches. Both are rated IP65 against rain and dust. Don't leave it sitting in standing water. Free shipping within the US.

Does it need wiring, and how do I switch it on?

It needs no wiring. The light is completely solar powered. A push button on the underside of the base switches it on. From then on it charges by day and lights up by itself at dusk.

How long does it stay on at night?

Up to 8 hours on a full charge. Give it a spot that gets direct sun during the day, because a shaded light will not charge fully.

How bright is it?

It gives 50 lm of white light at 5000K from one 0.5W LED. That is a soft glow that shows where the edge of a path is. It is not a floodlight.

Can it stay outside in rain and snow?

Yes. It is made of ABS and frosted glass, sealed to IP65, and built to stay out in rain and snow. Do not leave it sitting in standing water.

Which size should I pick?

Small is 5.6 in / 14.2 cm long and 3.1 in / 8 cm high. Large is 6.5 in / 16.6 cm long and 4.3 in / 11 cm high. The listed light output is the same for both, so choose by how big a stone you want to see next to your path.

How do I clean and care for it?

Wipe the glass with a soft damp cloth every few weeks. Dust, pollen and soil on the surface dull the glow.

For dried mud or water marks, switch the light off with the button underneath first. Use mild soapy water and a soft cloth, then wipe it dry. Skip abrasive pads and solvents, which can scratch the frosted surface.

It is made to stay outdoors. Keep plants trimmed back so it gets sun during the day, and do not let it sit in standing water.

No, our lamps are not UL or ETL listed. They are made for standard US outlets (110 to 120V), and plug-in models come with a US plug, so they are ready to use at home.
