Each stem ends in a small round plastic lamp shade, 0.6 in / 1.5 cm across, with the LED built in behind it. The body is ABS with an IP65 waterproof rating, which keeps it protected through rain and changing weather. A solar panel on the stake charges during the day, and the lights switch on by themselves once the sun goes down.

Description

Solar firefly lights that put small glowing dots above a flower bed, along a fence or beside a walkway. Each light is a tiny round shade on a thin black stem, so during the day the stems nearly disappear between the plants. They're accent lights that mark a spot and set a mood, not lighting for the whole yard.

A solar panel on the stake charges during the day and the lights switch on by themselves after sunset, so there's no wiring and no outlet. The LEDs are built in. A full charge takes 6 to 8 hours of sun, so set the panel where it gets direct light, and slide its switch to ON or it won't charge.

The body is ABS plastic with plastic shades, rated IP65 against rain and dust. The lights stand 28.7 inches tall including the 14.5-inch ground stake, and no tools are needed to set them up. Choose 6, 8 or 10 lights. Free shipping within the US.

Do they need wiring or a power outlet?

No. They are solar powered, so there is no wiring and no outlet involved. The panel charges during the day and the lights come on automatically once the sun goes down. The LED is built in, so there is no bulb to buy.

How long do they stay lit at night?

A full charge takes 6 to 8 hours of sun and powers 8 to 12 hours of light. Put the solar panel where it gets direct sun during the day so it can reach that full charge.

How do I set them up?

Assemble the ground stake, slide the switch on the solar panel to ON, tilt the panel toward the sun and push the stake into the ground. No wiring or tools are needed. The switch has to be ON for the panel to charge.

Can they stay outside in the rain?

Yes. They are made for outdoor use and carry an IP65 waterproof rating, which keeps the ABS body protected through rain and changing weather.

Which set should I pick?

The sets differ only in the number of lights: 6, 8 or 10. The height is 28.7 in / 73 cm for all three. Pick 6 for a planter or a narrow border, and 10 where you want a fuller cluster.

How do I clean and care for it?

Wipe the solar panel and the round shades with a soft damp cloth every few weeks. Dust and pollen on the panel cut down how much charge it takes in.

For dried dirt, slide the switch to OFF first, then use mild soapy water on a soft cloth and wipe everything dry. Skip abrasive pads and solvents, which can scratch the plastic.

They are made to stay outdoors. Keep tall plants from shading the panel, and set the stake in firm soil so it stands upright.
