A wall sconce with a shade of rattan rope woven by hand over an iron frame in three stepped tiers. The shade is open at the top and bottom, so light spreads up and down the wall while the weave softens what comes through the front. It fits beside a bed, along a hallway or next to a reading chair, in a boho, Japandi or minimalist room.

It's 9.8 inches high. Because each one is woven by hand, the strand spacing varies a little from piece to piece. It takes one E27 screw-in LED bulb, which isn't included. To dim it, use a dimmable bulb with a dimmer switch.

The sconce is hardwired. It mounts over a junction box, runs on 110-120V house power and has no cord or plug. Mounting hardware is included, and if there's no wiring at that spot, an electrician can add it. Indoor use only. Free shipping within the US.

How do I clean and care for it?

Switch the light off and let the bulb cool before you touch the shade. Do not wash the rope or use spray cleaners. Lift a mark with a barely damp cloth and let it air dry before you turn the light back on.

It is for indoor use only. No moisture rating is listed, so keep it out of bathrooms and away from steam, and out of strong direct sun, which can fade natural rope.
